Who is behind B. Chantel designs...?
Brittney Anderson
Born in Naples, Italy, Brittney has always been different but the path to choosing her passion didn’t come easy. After trying multiple career paths to study after high school and finally allowing God to take the wheel, she realized her true love of fashion shortly after the passing of her grandmother, Arline Green. She taught her how to sew at the age of 8 and creativity flowed from Brittney then on out. Ms. B.Chantel herself came home from a fabric store with some material and starting cutting and sewing. Within 4 hours she finished her first piece, a layered skirt with satin and chiffon material. From that moment, she had a breakthrough and an “AHA Moment”. God gave her this vision to create clothes in a way that hasn't been done before. Every piece she creates she puts her heart in it for 3 special reasons – both grandmothers, Gerldine Saldana and Arline Green, she lost in the beginning of 2011 and her lifesaver and “beautiful surprise” son Reshaun D. Sims. Her favorite designer in Betsey Johnson because “She’s different!! She creates what she wants with no regrets and wants all of the pieces to show that as well.” By dedicating her gift to God and using it as a platform to reach his people, this is only the beginning of the great things God has in store for her.
